Crafters owners Mitch and Dan came to us seeking a new website for their eco accommodation business in the Snowy Mountains. Having built a second luxurious cabin on their 13 acre property in the Thredbo Valley, they wanted to invest in a professionally designed website to replace the DIY site that had served them for the last two years.
Beautiful design is a hallmark of Crafters, so our challenge was to create a website that would not only appeal to the high end couples retreat market, but also meet the high standards of two owners who both have a creative and exacting eye.
Working with the Crafters brand guide, we created a stylish minimalist aesthetic and sleek subtle animation to reflect the contemporary design of the cabins themselves. Professional photography was key to draw the website visitor into the incredible setting of the cabins nestled amongst the snow gums with views towards Crackenback Peak, and to showcase the textures of the cabins' stone and wood work.
Ensuring visitors can quickly browse cabin features, amenities, images and video was of course key, as was providing clear calls to action to the third party booking engine for checking online availability and making bookings. Elopement weddings is also a significant revenue stream for this business, so a dedicated page for this was created and specifically optimised for relevant search keywords.
“Anthony and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were easy to communicate with throughout the design process and the end result speaks for itself. The ongoing support is fantastic and has delivered excellent results for the business. Highly recommend them for all aspects of website development.”
