The Challenge

Popular South Coast winery, Crooked River Wines, had an outdated website that didn't present the multiple aspects of their business effectively to potential visitors. In addition, being able to sell their wines and event tickets online was an important next step in growing their revenue streams and improving operations efficiency.

In addition, the owners wanted their existing logo refreshed, then a complete redesign of their product labelling and promotional materials.

The Solution

The new website was designed to convey all the key aspects of the Crooked River Wines experience at a glance, both through the navigation and the homepage layout. Guiding website visitors intuitively to plan their visit, reserve a restaurant table, research accommodation or book tickets to an event.

An e-commerce system was implemented on the website for the purchase of wines by the bottle, half case or case, including the option for customers to build their own mixed case of wines. A Wine Club was set up with recurring automatic quarterly subscription payments and discounted online prices for logged in members.

Reflecting the winery's location amongst the rolling hills, new wine bottle labels were designed with a die cut top edge, using the brand's black, white and gold colour palette for a sophisticated, appealing effect. The same look and feel has been applied to printed wine tasting notes used in the Cellar Door, wholesale order forms, business cards and promotional flyers.
