Mr Puzzle

Mr Puzzle is the brainchild of Brian and Sue Young, who have been selling puzzles and brainteasers since 1992, supplying unique puzzles from around the world. Based in Brisbane, they sell to customers across Australia and internationally.

Initially we were approached to provide support for their existing Magento e-commerce website with a view to partnering over the long term to aid their transition to a WordPress / WooCommerce setup.

Key to the success of the new site was a comprehensive structure for the product range to support easy browsing and filtering by users, and effective crawling by search engines. The visual design ensured the filtering options (by Type, Difficulty Level, Brand and Price) are intuitive and surfaces special offers, bundle deals and 'mix and match' packages to encourage customers to buy multiple items. Customer ratings and reviews also help convince customers to buy.

With customers all over the world purchasing from the website, we customised Woocommerce so customers can browse in their own currency and without GST if they are from outside Australia.

The site also supports wholesaling and several premium administrative functions to streamline business operations including inventory notifications, store credit management and reporting.
